Habe diese Email nun schon mehrmals bekommen, teilweise in leicht verschiedenen Ausführungen. Die hauen das massenhaft raus und hoffen halt auf einen “doofen” bzw. “leichtgläubigen”, der Geld springen lässt.

Mal im ernst, hier versucht einfach jemand seine Liste von Mail-Empfängern zu pflegen. Wer antwortet, bestätigt damit implizit seine Mail-Adresse als eine gültige Adresse, die auch gelesen wird. Solche sind im Datenhandel viel mehr wert als welche, die einfach nur über automatische Spider gefunden wurden und bei denen man nicht weiß, ob sie auch noch jemand abruft und liest.
Würde mich auch nicht wundern, wenn dort zwei Fliegen mit einer Klappe geschlagen würden. Heißt, die schicken einem wenn man antwortet eine automatisierte Mail mit der Fortsetzung der herzergreifenden Geschichte und einer Postadresse. Wenn es tatsächlich Leute gibt, die doof genug sind, einen Ofen zu verschicken, warum dann nicht annehmen und daraus auch noch ein kleines Geschäft machen.
Also Leute, bitte, Hirn benutzen und wenn ihr was spenden wollt nutzt staatlich geprüfte Organisationen, bei denen man weiß, dass das Geld da ankommt wo es hin soll.

Du kannst Dir Dein Schild auch gleich abholen. Umgerechnet in Euro wird vermutlich jeder Preis auch noch ein paar Cents drin haben.

Menschen deren IQ über 70 ist, fällt in Geschäften wie z.B. Supermärkten auf: da kosten die Dinge nicht 2 €, nicht 3 €, auch nicht 20 €. Sie kosten 1,99 €, 2,95 € oder 19,95 €.
Dass die Umrechnung in € höchstwahrscheinlich einen krummen Betrag ergibt, ist richtig. Aber die Chance steht 1:100, dass dabei 95 Cent rauskommen. Von genau 199 € vor der Kommastelle mal ganz zu schweigen. Das würde nur dann passieren, wenn jemand den Rubel-Preis absichtlich genau so festlegt, dass es diesen Betrag in € ergibt. Was natürlich auch Schwachsinn ist, denn die nächste Kursschwankung wird nicht lange auf sich warten lassen…
p.s: Das Schild darfst du gerne behalten, auch du hast es dir redlich verdient.

Nein, lass mal. Das Schild brauche ich nicht, denn Du hast mich nicht richtig verstanden. Nehmen wir an, der Ofen ist absichtlich mit 9999 Rubel angeschrieben, das ist doch ein toller Preis – fast 10000 Rubel, aber das merkt einer mit IQ 70 ja nicht). So, 9999 Rubel sind umgerechnet 222,284 Euro. Da hat es also 28,4 Cents. Elena hätte also schreiben müssen, der Ofen koste umgerechnet 222,284 Euro. Aber sie schreibt ja von exakt 193 Euro, das sind 8681,71 Rubel und das ist echt ein schlechter Preis für ein Preisschild beim Discounter.

Ja eben! Vielleicht kommt 222,284 raus oder auch 214,87 oder…
Aber sowohl genau 193,00 € als auch genau 195,95 € als Ergebnis der Umrechnung von Rubel in Euro sind unwahrscheinlich und würden mich stutzig machen.

Dass man mit einem IQ von 70 den psychologischen Hintergrund solcher Preisbildung nicht durchschaut, war auch schon Teil meiner Aussage. Allerdings hat das mit der plumpen Wiederholung diesmal leider nicht ganz geklappt: bei dir gilt das auf einmal nur für Menschen mit einem IQ von ganz genau 70, alles andere lässt du offen.
Und jetzt hatte ich doch gerade gedacht, wenigstens das mit der Unwahrscheinlichkeit genauer Werte hättest du verstanden, wo du es doch so schön vorgerechnet hast…

Hallo, bin grade zufällig auf diese seite gestossen, hab ide mail auch bekommen und hab auch darauf geantwortet und nun mail kontakt mit elena – jetzt mal im ernst was macht euch so sicher das es wirklich nur spam ist ?
Was ist wenn die frau wirklich hilfe braucht und am ende noch erfriert weil keiner bereit war zu helfen.

Ok, hab ne seite gefunden die tatsächlich bestätigt das es sich um nen betrug handelt. Offensichtlich hat Elena viele von uns angeschrieben, doch ist für meine Begriffe die Frage nach wie vor offen, ob sie und ihre Familie tatsächlich in Not sind oder nicht? Geld zu erbetteln ist für meine Begriffe nicht strafbar und die Verhältnisse in Russland sind vielerorts tatsächlich problematisch. Ich habe gelesen, dass in den 90er Jahren dort 3 Millionen Menschen verhungert oder erfroren sein sollen. -
